Bridal Shower #3- Houston, TX

Today I'm sharing my final bridal shower that I flew back to Houston, TX for in order to celebrate with all of my TX people- where I had lived for the previous 8 years!

If you've been following along recently, I've shared my previous two bridal showers, honeymoon, day after wedding, and I plan to share some other wedding events sporadically until we're all caught up and they're all saved on this electronic scrapbook of mine!

Huge thanks to my MOH Stephanie and other friend at the time for hosting this Houston shower. The theme was just ADORABLE!

The decorations were so stinkin' cute too! I loved them, and I love looking at these pics of them!

We were still somewhat in the height of COVID here, so notice the individual snacks. Smart!

They had some fun games planned as well.
And then it was gift time!

With our wedding being a spring-turned-winter wedding, we got a lot of Christmas items off the registry to celebrate and honor our Christmastime wedding time of year. This item was one of my favs. It's so nostalgic for me! We had one of these growing up, and my parents turned it on every night in the hallway by our bedrooms around Christmastime when it was out. I loved seeing the little glow of it from my bedroom.
We also got a little white version for our bedroom. Since receiving these, I've seen trees like these everywhere, and a ton of my guests were asking where we got them too. It seems like everyone wants a piece of the simple, nostalgic Christmastime magic!

It was so great getting to catch up and celebrate with many of my Houston friends and "framily"!

My Math Specialist (my counterpart for everything as I was the Literacy Specialist) at the most recent school I taught at...
...and our ESL Specialist counterpart too!

Just a few teacher friends from the first school I taught at in Houston...
...some of my Trotter YMCA gym buddies!

And a few of my MSU but met in Houston friends, too!
My Post Oak Apartments neighbor and pool buddy back in the good old days...ahh, these pictures and people are making me miss Houston and that Houston life of my mine so so much.
And then some of my Second Baptist Church girlies!
Including little Ms. Paulina, who now looks SO much older than this. Where have the past few years gone? They've passed more quickly than any other year, that's for sure.
A huge thanks again to my bestie and MOH Stephanie for throwing such an incredible bridal shower! So thankful and appreciative.

Thanks for celebrating this final shower with me! Hope you have a cozy, transitioning to fall, middle of September, Wednesday.

The goal is for me to be back in this space tomorrow with a fun new-to-me (and hopefully to you too) series!
