This recipe is from a blogger I follow. We LOVE it! I also modified this one slightly to what Shane and I think tastes better!
Beef stroganoff was one of my very favorite meals when I was a kid, and this one is the best recipe I've tried out. Extra bonus is that it's a slow cooker recipe! Perfect for this busy time of year.
Here it is:
Slow Cooker Stroganoff Recipe

Ingredients:
-1.5 to 2 lbs. stew meat
-1 onion chopped
-1 can of beef broth
-1 can equivalent of Imagine Mushroom soup
-1 (8 oz.) package mushrooms (my addition!)
-1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
-2 tbsp. Worchestire sauce
-1 tsp. garlic powder
-1 lb. egg noodles (or g free elbow noodles)
-chopped parsley to garnish
-EEVOO
-salt
-pepper
Steps:
-Over medium high heat, brown your meat in a tablespoon of EVOO and some salt and pepper (about 5 minutes).
-Transfer meat into your slow cooker.
-Layer onion, mushrooms, broth, cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, Worchestire sauce and garlic powder.
-Cover and cook on low 6 hours or on high 3 hours.
-About 30 minutes before you're ready to eat, move heat to high on your slow cooker and add in your noodles.
-Continue cooking uncovered until noodles are tender (about 30 minutes).
-Sprinkle parsley to garnish.
Eat up!
