Today I'm back with part 2 of our honeymoon to St. Lucia! If you missed yesterday's post, I covered part 1 of our amazing trip! Again, COVIDtime wedding = super stressful, honeymoon = perfection thankfully!
For today's post, I'm primarily going to let the pictures do the talking...
We enjoyed spending more time around our resort on different days! So gorgeous, calm and peaceful!
On our last breakfast/meal there, there was a rainbow over the ocean! It made that last meal just a bit more special.
I mentioned in the previous post that breakfast was my favorite time of day each day...my husband, outside, tropical vibes with the music playing and the scenery, amazing food...including g-free, ahh it just filled me up with such happiness each day!The views from our outdoor breakfast restaurant were beautiful. Ah, looking at these take me right back to that paradise!
Including looking at this goof...
Did I mention all the bananas and incredible food?!
We had such a great time with our second (and second favorite!) excursion. This one had us horseback riding a little bit through town and alongside/IN the ocean!
They thought fearless Shane looked capable enough to throw him right in with their young, difficult horse named Apache that still needed a lot of training...haha. As soon as he got on his horse, his immediately jumped up on mine and tried to hump mine...yikes! Shane did great with Apache and Apache showed great progress by the end of their time together. Uh, no thanks...give me the calm, perfect, obedient horse!
I used to love horseback riding when camping with Girl Scouts and I even had a horseback riding birthday party once. It's been a minute, so I was a bit anxious at first. I thought I did a good job of acting calm, but one of the super friendly guides stayed by my side the entire ride, haha. He made for some great conversation and answering of my random questions.
Note to self: don't wear leopard print when getting up close and personal with a horse that might mistake you for an animal.
Just bareback riding through the ocean! How about these views?!
They didn't let any of the other couples double bareback ride together, so this was especially special and fun for us!
Yuck to this seaweed though!
On the ride back to our resort, our driver stopped to show us this boat that was the actual boat used in The Pirates of the Caribbean movies. So cool! I had to snap a pic for my brother who's a fan.
That's a wrap for part 2 of our St. Lucian paradise! I'll be back tomorrow with the final honeymoon blogpost- part 3...including our FAVORITE excursion of them all! Thanks for soaking up these precious memories with us. <3
