Amazon Haul- April + Previous

Living in the middle of nowhere, I have used Amazon a TON more than I even previously used it...which is a lot. We get pretty much everything from Amazon- besides groceries and stuff we can get at nearby CVS. The issue with beach town life!

I figured it would be fun to share some of my favorite Amazon purchases each month. A bunch of my favorite bloggers do this and it's always so interesting to me...and I've found a lot of REALLY good finds this way!

Some of this purchases aren't from this month, but for these first few months I will also be playing catch up of my very favorite finds from the past months/few years even.

First up, these beaded bracelets I recently randomly ordered. Love them! They have tons of finishes, but I'm pretty much always a silver girl.

We were fortunate to get a KitchenAid mixer off of our registry (from Shane's family friends!), but the silver bowl that came with it just wasn't doing it for me. I used a wedding Amazon gift card for this mixing bowl...love! I have already used this mixer much, much more than I had anticipated.

This stain removal is life. changing. We are obsessed with it. It gets all of the dogs' mud stains, dirt stains, really it has completely destroyed any stain I've ever used it for! I even use it on our bedskirt (after the dogs dirty that up and dirt has been on it for months), and it still comes right off. When Caylor was in heat right before she got spayed, this even did the trick of getting blood out of everything and anything. We keep this stocked up at our house now.

Another life changing item that I used a gift card for since we didn't get it off our registry; this item is the thing I never knew I always needed. This basting brush works SO WELL. It is a silicone material and it made me realize how terrible my previous basting brushes were. This is so fun to use and the sauce or glaze or whatever just glides right on so smoothly on our food.

While we're in the kitchen, this is yet another item that we didn't get off our registry so I used a gift card for. We use this so often! Shane is gone now for training, so there are no desserts in it, but I pretty much always have it full of a homemade dessert when he's home. Functional and pretty.
Same reasoning as the previous items goes for this! Yes, we have his and her ice cream scoops...mainly because his ice cream sometimes has gluten in it. So fun!

Shane gets the credit for finding this one- and installing it before I even knew what was happening. I sure noticed the benefits of it the following day, and every day since, though!  These kitchen dividers make our utensils (that aren't matchy matchy, used enough, or appealing enough to stay out on our counter) so organized and easy to find.

And the last kitchen purchase for this month (again with a wedding gift card) are these KitchenAid oven mitts. They are just so cute. The picture is not great because these are already dirty, used very often, and well loved...but here they are.

When I have meetings or am teaching, I'm always working from my office, but when I am doing other work, I'm usually sitting on the couch with a movie on in the background. This wireless mouse comes in super handy for that. It's also perfect for traveling...and just all the time! It's quiet and cute...and really cheap. Lots of color options too!

Similarly enough to be showcased next, Shane got this leather mousepad. We love how classy it looks.

I'm having a moment with rattan, and I've been eyeing straw/rattan purses like this for awhile. It's a good size and great for this time of year around here.

This nighttime moisturizer was recommended by one of my favorite Christian authors, weirdly enough. It is almost identical to a Nordstrom one that thousands of women rave and rave about; the only difference is one last ingredient listed towards the end. I've been using it for awhile and love it! It doesn't make me break out, which most other products do. You get a huge tub for a really good price. That being said, I need all the skincare help...especially from the damage of the past 10 years of living in the sunny south, so any and all recommendations are welcome.

I've talked about this on here before, but this is a fun (and easy to bring with you when traveling or going somewhere) game that is similar to Scrabble that our friends turned us on to.

Shane ordered this shoe rack to keep some of his shoes on and to also put his work bag on at the end of the day. It's sturdy, good quality and a nice size.

Another picture of it- ignore the pile of Cash's fur that just piles up everywhere- especially now when he's blowing his winter coat. Especially with Shane gone, our floors are not in their tip-top shape.
And lastly, here are some books I got Bridget and Brian in place of cards for their baby shower. I was looking for a husky picture book, and this one is so adorable especially with the topic.

I got this one because it just had Brian's sense of humor all over it- a silly, cute, clever book. As expected, he ate it right up.

And lastly, this kids' book isn't released until September, but my mom had me order it for her to give to Brian and Bridget for the baby. I can't wait to see it when it comes!

That's it for this month! Hope I don't encourage you to break the bank too much with this good finds! Let me know if you have anything Amazon that you swear by.
